Round Style Chamber Caps come as an assembled kit with 3 screws, and include an AllenWrench, and additional 3 screws.

PEEK

CILUX MATERIAL

o Lighter weight making them suitable for smaller animals

o Hydrolytic Stability, performing well in wet environments superior resistance to water absorption,

o Recommended sterilization: Short-term liquid or gas methods.

o High UV and Gamma Ray Resistance

STAINLESS STEEL MATERIAL

o Significantly more durable;
o Much heavier than Cilux or PEEK
o More Cost effective than PEEK
o Heat Resistance for high temperature sterilization
o Very Biocompatible
o Generally MRI - Compatible, however, if exposed for extended periods Stainless Steel alloys can potentially cause image distortion or artifacts.

PEEK MATERIAL

o Heat Resistant up to 480°F for sterilization
o Highly biocompatible resulting in fewer hypersensitive and allergic reactions.
o High Hydrolytic Stability
o Radiation Resistant
o Provides excellent strength and dimensional stability

MATERIAL SUMMARY

All three materials—Ultem, Stainless Steel, and PEEK—have properties that make them compatible with MRI to varying degrees. Ultem and PEEK, are high-performance thermoplastics with chemical resistance, making them suitable for implants that require these properties. As polymers, they generally show better MRI compatibility with minimal interference in imaging.
